Open window detection decreases the set temperature of the SmartWave when it notices a sudden drop in temperature. An extra LED will flash between the upper and lower strips of LED lights, to indicate this.
In the 2015 version of the SmartWave, open window detection is always running in all modes and cannot be disabled. The temperature must drop 4 ˚C quickly before the radiator switches to anti-frost mode. Open window detection will end when movement is detected.
