My Haverland SmartWave keypad is unresponsive

This is likely because the keypad lock is enabled. You can tell the keypad is locked by the blue dot visible in the lower right corner of the screen. The keypad can be unlocked on all versions by pressing the standby key and UP arrow simultaneously.
